Camp No Limits Maine 2013
We had so many amazing volunteers who helped with making our PT and OT sessions, cooking classes, swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, acting, peer support, archery, music and much, much more such an incredible success! None of this would be possible without your hard work and dedication!! I would also like to thank the OT, PT, Prosthetic students for volunteering also!! Thank you all so much!!
This year's Maine CNL was exciting and we offered so many new programs that had incredible feedback from parents and campers alike. Devin initiated our new swimming program. Jim and Becky join the water fun and helped our campers swim towards the gold. Music was a hit again this year. Greg shared his amazing music skill with more campers than ever. Matthew Glave brought his successful acting and fencing class from California to Maine for the first time this year. Everyone that took part in his class was happy he joined the Maine crew. We hope we continue these and many more activities in the future!
Our Never Say Never adventure days was an exciting part of camp. Thank you to Never Say Never for sponsoring this event. Also to Brooke Artesi and Sunshine Prosthetics and Orthotics and Al Staton and Jennifer Taylor for sponsoring the ice cream truck. CNL also would like to offer a big thank you to Nick of Never Say Never and Al Staton for the winning auction bids. They both won great signed pictures of the group at our biggest camp yet. We love you guys!
Maine Adaptive Sports and Recreation brought their paddling coaches to encourage our campers again this year. AmpSurf also joined us for the first time this year. They brought their crew to help our campers experience stand up paddle boarding. These wonderful organizations donate their time and expertise so our campers can experience paddling.
Our Maine camp has often had an international flair. Our New Zealand and Canadian family members were joined by Tadas's family from Lithuania and Jakub had his Uncle join us from Poland.
